William S. Adams is a Morgantown, WV personal injury lawyer and the founder of Adams Legal Group, PLLC – WV Accident & Wrongful Death Lawyers, located in Morgantown, and founded in 2011.
Mr. Adams graduated from the WVU College of Law in 1999, and has worked at the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia and in private practice as a WV licensed attorney since that time.
William S. Adams has devoted the vast majority of his practice as a trial lawyer to personal injury claims civil trial litigation. In that context, Mr. Adams previously, for the first 10 years of his practice as an attorney, represented physicians, veterinarians, engineers and architects in professional and medical malpractice actions, throughout the state of West Virginia.
During this time, he also worked for the defense and their insurance carriers in defending personal injury claims of all types, including
throughout all parts of the State of West Virginia.
In this context, William also represented individuals and businesses in a diverse array of trial litigation matters, including personal injury claims, premises liability, products liability and property damage cases.
Since starting Adams Legal Group, PLLC – WV Accident & Wrongful Death Lawyers in 2011, William S. Adams shifted his focus, not away from personal injury cases, but towards helping the victims of serious injuries, accidents and wrongful deaths.

Although licensed in Pennsylvania, Mr. Adams currently focuses his practice on helping fellow West Virginians and people needing personal injury, accident and wrongful death representation in the State of WV.
Mr. Adams also handles divorce, custody, and support cases. As a single father and co-parent to his son, he has a very pragmatic view of the implications of divorce and custody and how they affect the parents and children. Mr. Adams brings this common-sense approach to his handling of domestic and family law cases.
He also understands that his clients deserve not only compassion and integrity through the process, but zealous and committed advocacy on their behalf in these matters as the results will have an immense and lasting impact on their lives.
